IIC organises a variety of events throughout the year to promote entrepreneurial activities in and around the campus. Our annual IIC witnesses huge participation. IIC also conducts various lectures and workshops focussed at budding entrepreneurs. StartUp Internship Programme helps I2IT students land internships in start-ups and get to know their working in greater depth.
The MHRD Innovation Cell hosted a webinar with Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group, as part of the Smart India Hackathon 2019. The session was moderated by Abhay Jere, Chief Innovation Officer, MHRD.
The International Institute of Information Technology, Pune organized a seminar with Rahul Bhatnagar, an I²IT alumnus and successful entrepreneur. The session aimed to help students understand entrepreneurship and the process of starting a business. Key qualities like patience and communication skills were emphasized, along with the strategy of Commit, Act, Consolidate. The seminar inspired positive thoughts on the challenges and execution of a startup.
I²IT Entrepreneurship Development Cell in association with Millionminds hosted “Accelerate: The Startup Talk” session by Abhishek Kumar Kanaujia at our college. The talk focused on aspects about the Startup and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem. Students can now enhance their Startup Ideas by avoiding common mistakes made by Entrepreneurs and Founders while executing their Ideas and reaching to the highest levels of success.
Creating a vibrant local innovation ecosystem. Establishing a start-up/entrepreneurship supporting mechanism in HEIs.
Ideation, problem-solving, proof of concept development, design thinking, IPR, project handling, and management at the pre-incubation/incubation stage. Conducting various innovation and entrepreneurship-related activities prescribed by Central MIC in a time-bound fashion.
Developing short-term certificate courses on Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Convincing departments to offer Major or Minor Specializations or credit courses related to Innovation and Entrepreneurship (I & E) and IPR.
